Unravel the mystery, tales and folklore of the sea terrors at the incredible Ripley’s Pirates exhibit in Myrtle Beach

Posted By ShoutCarolina,Date: 11.12.2008

Is it a little Captain Morgan in you?

Find out at the highly entertaining, interactive and cool Pirates exhibit inside Ripley’s Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach.

Justice for all! These social rebels often fought against class oppression, and along the way, they’ve won the hearts of the plebe and the (secret) admiration of kings. Their legends and myths have filled the minds of people all around the world for centuries. No wonder Hollywood took notice…

Pirates Exhibit Ripley Aquarium Myrtle Beach

Get answers to some burning primordial questions:
• Whatever happened to Queen’s Anne Revenge ship…you know the one Blackbeard (aka Jack Sparrow of late) used to keep an entire float at bay during the infamous Charleston blockade?
• Where did Blackbeard die?
• Did Pirates really bury their treasures?
• Did Pirates really say “Arrrgh”?
• Where there female Pirate captains? Mark my lips: Anne Bonny and Mary Read.

Prices, hours and location

The Aquarium is open year around (Sunday - Thursday 9AM – 7PM, Friday - Saturday 9AM – 9PM).
General admission (without tax) $18.99 for adults, $9.99 for children 6-11 years old $3.99 for those 2-5. There are group discounts and combo tickets available.

Ripley’s Aquarium is located inside Broadway at the Beach off of 29th North Avenue in Myrtle Beach.
