The West Africa Journey is one of my favorite exhibits at the Mint Museum of Arts in Charlotte featuring dozens of artifacts, sculptures, and ornaments reflecting rich traditions and vibrant cultures.
Admission to the museum is $10 adults, $5 children, seniors and students but you can get in for free on Tuesdays, from 5 to 9PM.

At the Charlotte Nature Museum, located inside beautiful Freedom Park, children can walk among fluttering butterflies, observe live animals in Creature Cavern, buzz by Insect Alley or just hang out in Our Big Backyard.
